By using our app, website, and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Riders Emergency Info LLC, doing business as Scan If Hurt™ ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") offers the Scan If Hurt™ service, enabling users to securely store emergency contact information and personal notes accessible to first responders through the ScanIfHurt.com website via a Rider ID. This service provides peace of mind by allowing users to share critical details in emergencies. It is web platforms for easy profile management.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Scan If Hurt™ service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as any updates or changes we may make to them.

3. Service Description

Scan If Hurt™ allows users to:

  • Store emergency contact details and optional personal notes for emergency use.
  • Manage the visibility of specific information fields on the ScanIfHurt.com site, accessed through the Rider ID. Users can update, delete, or hide their information as desired, with control over what is visible on a per-field basis.

4. Account Registration, Management, and Deletion

  • Account Creation: Users must create an account to store and manage emergency information.
  • Data Deletion: You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your data from our system and make it inaccessible via the lookup page.
  • Accuracy: Users are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.

5. Subscription and Auto-Renewal Terms

  • Subscription Plans: Access is available through subscription plans (monthly, annual and lifetime).Fees are charged at the beginning of each term.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each term. Your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • No Refund Policy: All subscription payments are non-refundable. Please review your plan and fees before purchase.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel auto-renewal via account settings or customer support. Cancellations must occur before the current term ends to avoid charges.

6. QR Code and Access via Media

Safety ID QR codes direct individuals to the EMS.ScanIfHurt.com lookup page.No personal data is stored on the QR code stickers; these function solely as access points to the Rider ID lookup.

7. User Control Over Data

All data fields in the Scan If Hurt™ app are optional. Users have full control over visibility settings, with real-time updates to the EMS.ScanIfHurt.com lookup page. Data can be deleted or hidden at any time.

8. Expired Subscriptions

If your subscription expires without renewal, your Rider ID will no longer display emergency information on the EMS.ScanIfHurt.com lookup page until reactivation.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  • No HIPAA Compliance: We do not collect "protected health information" and are not subject to HIPAA regulations. Users may voluntarily include relevant details in the optional "Message to EMS" field.
  • Accuracy: Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of their information. We do not verify or guarantee the effectiveness of the data provided.
  • Service Availability: The service is provided "as is," with no guarantee of uninterrupted access or uptime.
  • Liability Limitation: Riders Emergency Info LLC will not be liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the service.

10. Privacy and Data Use

We respect user privacy and do not share or sell user data with third parties. All data is stored securely within the secure database and accessed only by the user or through the EMS.ScanIfHurt.com website via a Rider ID.Data is only accessible internally and through user-approved access points and will not be disclosed to external entities.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Florida courts for any disputes arising from or relating to the service.
