When the person cannot answer, their chosen information can still be available
ABC7 New York reported that Bergen County sheriff's officers encountered an 80-year-old driver who was unresponsive in Hackensack.
Officers entered the vehicle, removed him, began CPR and used a defibrillator. The report says his pulse returned and he was recovering.
An unresponsive person cannot provide identity, emergency contacts or other selected information themselves. That is an information problem families and individuals can prepare for in advance.
Scan If Hurt™ gives a person a scannable Safety ID connected to information they choose to make available.
That information can include identity, emergency contacts and selected emergency context useful to the people supporting the person through the response.
The simple idea is continuity: when the person's voice is unavailable, their chosen information can still be available.
