One emergency can become another in seconds

NorthEscambia.com reported that an Escambia County EMS ambulance, while responding to a traffic crash with lights and sirens activated, collided with an e-bike rider. Another EMS unit transported the cyclist.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating, and Escambia County is conducting an internal review. The published report did not provide the cyclist's condition or establish fault.
