Serious transport creates a second problem: reaching the person's people

FOX 5 Atlanta reported that an e-bike rider was seriously injured in a Mableton collision and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

The crash investigation belongs to police. The medical response belongs to EMS and the hospital.

For families, however, a different problem can begin at the same time: someone they care about may suddenly be in a hospital while they do not yet know anything has happened.

Emergency-contact information can be difficult to access if it exists only inside a locked phone, with a companion who is not present or in someone else's memory.

Scan If Hurt™ lets a person connect chosen emergency contacts and other information to a scannable Safety ID. The FOX 5 report does not establish that information was missing in this case, and the product would not prevent a collision or replace 911, EMS or medical care.

Its role is narrower: help a person prepare the information they want available if an emergency separates them from the people who normally know them.
